Is pretty simple. You can do it in three ways.
+Training +Sparing +Fighting + Friendly Rp The increase itself is graded on the quality of the posts, or the word count, which ever you perfer. However, you don't have to beat someone over the head all the time just to gain power level because that's where you get left behind. You should be able to have a friendly rp to whenever you want right? So yeah, you can also be graded by your rps that you do, no matter if it's fighting or not fighting.
(Note* Training threads must be SOLO; only one character involved, please.)
Now, naturally, sparing and fighting benefit you more. Because if you have a partner it turns into a thread which means more posts. And more posts mean more words for the calculator. But training threads are good too because you can add more posts to them (good news, for all you obsessive double-posters out there). HOWEVER, please don't PM your staff the training thread if you aren't completely finished with it. I, for one, am not going to keep going back adding more boosts when your character, meanwhile, could be in a fight somewhere and randomly increasing their power level from training that happened three weeks ago. Just...no.
As for learning new techniques, it's pretty much a no brainer. You just make a thread where your character is being taught by someone who already knows it. Then PM it to staff and we'll add it to your profile. If your charrie comes up with a NEW technique all on their own, you need a thread for that as well. And the process has to be realistic.
Last but not least, we have our Saiyans and their near death experiences. In which case, an additional boost will be given around 500. Give or take.
